Thank you for visiting Edible Eden! My name is Sara, and I am the owner of Edible Eden. I am an herbalist, gardener, plant lover and permaculturalist. My passion is plants!
On my own permaculture journey, I’ve found it hard to find edible perennials and the plants I really need to turn my yard into a food forest. As I thought about how I found my own plants, trading friends here and there, and buying plants from every permaculturist I visited for a class or event, I realized we have a large community of awesome plant people that grow plants right here in the Tampa Bay area! I realized we needed a way to bring them all together and connect people looking for plants to those that have them in abundance.
Bringing those things together is how Edible Eden was born. Edible Eden is a community centric, virtual plant nursery which focuses on local, edible permaculture plants, as well as medicinal plants, Florida natives and non-edibles that can help on your gardening journey.
